We focus on industries with long-term growth potential where our experience, knowledge and network give us an edge. We are the only owner in our companies and hence the sole source of owner direction and expectation-setting vis-à-vis our subsidiaries.  Our main priority is to be a great owner of our existing companies, but we also look for new companies to acquire.

Patricia Industries is a part of the industrial holding company Investor AB, whose main owner is the Wallenberg Foundations.

Our business concept is to build wholly-owned companies in the Nordics and North America within three prioritized areas: medical technology and life science tools/reagents, industrial technology, Real estate and infrastructure. We focus on industries with long-term growth potential where our experience, knowledge and network give us an edge. We have a long-term ownership horizon, and the aim is to exceed 90 percent ownership, with the companies’ managements and boards of directors as co-owners, to ensure full alignment of interest. 

Our vision is to be a great home for great companies. This means that we want to be a force for long-term value creation for our companies, including investments in organic and non-organic growth, development of strategies that generate sustainable profitability for years to come, investments in innovation and sustainability in our subsidiaries’ markets and communities, regardless of pressure from market or other external forces.

The boards of Patricia Industries’ companies are typically composed of independent directors from our network and investment professionals from Patricia Industries, led by an independent, non-executive, chair.
